In 2013 we were approached by FG Wilson, a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc. to design and build a bespoke website and content management platform for their global network of 370 dealerships operating in over 150 countries.

We created responsive templated websites, replicated and localised these for each of the individual dealers ensuring a consistent level of quality and a common standard of visitor experience across their global dealer network.
Central Content Management System
We provided the FG Wilson Marketing team with a CMS that enabled them to manage content for each dealer website, create content (news, banners, pages, product data) and assign to all / specific dealer websites, add and assign languages to dealer websites, build and launch new dealer websites without any I.T. support, choose a theme and layout for each dealer website, manage Google Analytics integration and enter SEO content (HTML page title, meta keywords, meta descriptions.
Dealer Content Management System
Each dealer was provided with a CMS to add and create news articles, edit page content, create new pages / sections, create new web banners, manage address, opening times and contact details and manage their product stock data.
Launched in January 2014, FG Wilson have been building and launching dealer websites onto the platform with 24 dealer websites supporting languages including Finnish, Mongolian & Chinese, with more to follow. The platform will also help support FG Wilson's dealer network expansion into China and Brazil in the coming months.
